Bar Cart Essentials

I had contemplated buying a bar cart for a long time, so when this wood and brass one showed up at Target last fall I knew it was time to purchase. They no longer carry it, but I love this new white and brass option.

I didn’t realize how often this piece would get utilized, but it quickly became my favorite staple. I like to keep my bar cart relatively clean on a daily basis with a few of my favorite alcohol bottles and glassware. If people are over I like to use the bottom half to store more bottles (everyone likes options to choose from) and a large ice bucket!

When entertaining I love to make a signature cocktail and have a simple framed sign with the drinks’ ingredients. I keep all of the contents to make the drink on the top shelf of the bar cart, making it easy to maneuver.

Adding touches like fresh flowers, a lightly scented candle and colorful straws makes the cart feel layered and festive. It is also a great place to store a few of my favorite entertaining and cocktail recipe books. I would love to hear some of your favorite bar cart essentials!
