Sausalito Bound

Now that I have a blog I find it difficult to keep anything a secret. My first inclination is to publish just about everything that is going on, but I am learning to have a bit more patience. That being said, I am so excited to finally share that Daniel and I are moving into an adorable (albeit very small) apartment in Sausalito! After two years of dating we could not be more excited to finally live together. Although I feel like we do now as we spend all of our free time with each other it will be so nice to feel settled in our own space and build something together.

We have been looking at apartments online for a long time and nothing really seemed like the right fit for us. There was always a reason we didn’t even want to see it in person. When we found this place we immediately jumped at the chance to go take a look. Located on a hill directly above downtown Sausalito it is the perfect location for us. The apartment was built in 1941 and needs a lot of love, so we spent this past weekend painting most of the space and prepping for furniture. I can not wait to share the design process and the final result over the next couple of weeks. This place has so much potential and I can already tell it is going to be so much fun to decorate!
