Winter Transition In Boston

new70

Now that Halloween has come and gone, we are about to be in the midst of winter and all the holiday festivities. When we were in Boston the weather was quite cold compared to the Bay Area and it made me want to get a jumpstart on my winter wardrobe. When I got home I started pulling out my warmer coats and realized I have a bit of a uniform when it comes to cold weather dressing.

I have been reading The Curated Closet to remind me of the importance in editing your wardrobe. I like to do this at the beginning of every season, even if I just throw out one tattered sweater. It makes me feel like I am starting the season with a fresh start. Lately I have been wearing a sweater, jeans, coat or sweater and boots everyday. It’s comfortable, it works and through subtle alterations it doesn’t get boring!
