I am getting really excited for Thanksgiving next week, so I am going to be posting a lot about the upcoming holiday. Retail stores have so many sales going on right now and there is still enough time to order some last minute items online. Thanksgiving has always been such a special holiday and really revolves around family and food… lots and lots of food! A few years ago for my birthday my brother got me Martha’s Entertaining book and it has since become the holy grail for holiday get togethers. I have so many pages marked in this book and it provides beautiful inspirational imagery, tablescape ideas and seasonal menus.
This year I want to pair down the tablescape and stick to an earthy color palette and pretty ceramic textures. I have been using a lot of magnolia branches lately and think they would look so pretty in a vase on their own, or on the table intertwined like a garland. The other thing I’ve recently been using and thought would be perfect for Thanksgiving is the Todolist App. This app is like an advanced version of Notes on the I phone and allows you to create categorized to do lists with scheduled dates. This helps to keep all the Thanksgiving prep organized and note who is doing what.
