I want to share more of what I buy or am inspired by on a weekly or semi-weekly basis. I love seeing what people actually buy and getting a little review on how they are liking said piece. I have been taking a bit of a break from the blog (more to come on this), but I am excited to get back into it. I also head to New York with my best friend and mom on Thursday night to stay with my other best friend and go wedding dress shopping for the weekend. I am so excited and can’t wait to be back in the city!
Fresh Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash: I ran out of my previous face scrub and was in the mood to try something different. I have sensitive skin so I gravitate towards a lighter scrub that doesn’t feel too gritty or harsh. I instantly liked this product because it feels clean and light enough to use multiple times a week. It removes a lot of dead skin without making me breakout!
Soludos Ibiza Sneaker: I am a sucker for classic white sneakers, but am very particular about the fit. I don’t like when they look too big on my feet (weird I know), but it can happen with simple shoes. I ordered these for New York and love the overall style and shape. Will report back on comfort, but so far they’re great.
Voyage Et Cie Candles: This is a very well known candle brand, but somewhat new to me. I had heard about their cult following for a while, so I decided it was time to finally test some out. The scents are incredible because they give off a lot without being too over powering. Bonus: If you are like me and can’t get enough pumpkin spice scents in the fall, their Boston candle smells SO good and looks very chic as I am not a fan of the orange colored candle.
APC clutch: Lately I have been into carrying a small clutch around instead of a full bag when I am running errands. I love this sleek design from APC that can be thrown in a bag or used as a clutch on a night out.
Byredo Body Lotion: This one is a bit pricier for a lotion, but because Mojave Ghost is my go to perfume I couldn’t resist testing it out. I will say a little goes a long way which is great. Also if you were considering a Byredo perfume, but don’t want to pay the price – this could be a nice alternative because the scent it gives off feels like a subtle version of my perfume.
Small Croc Tote: I wanted an inexpensive bag to bring to New York that was a small carry on instead of a large tote. Whenever I have a big bag for traveling I throw far too much in it and end up hurting my back. This is a great small size and looks much nicer than $60.
Paris Book: A beautiful book highlighting one of my favorite cities through black and white photography. This would make a great gift!
Striped Accent Chair: Lastly my favorite addition to our place in the month of August is this striped chair that now sits in our living room. I had been on the hunt for a good chair that was a bit bigger than the few we have had there before. Although Norman instantly took over this spot, I LOVE the way it looks and the striped linen upholstery is so pretty!
