On My Mind

More often than not I forget to post about pieces I purchase in real time and then they can be sold out by the time I get around to photographing them. As I rework our apartment, home purchases are definitely top of mind, but I have been eyeing a few other springtime layers.

Overall I have been very mindful about the purchases I have been making this year especially as my online shopping/browsing has increased in quarantine. I shared my new console on Instagram stories yesterday and I am so happy with the piece. That was definitely more of an investment for me and has already made a huge impact on our living room. I have also been adding in some special accents like a new candle from Diptyque’s limited edition collection and a new salt bowl for the kitchen (I have the small) I also just ordered this mirror for our bookshelves – I love the shape and the price tag so I will keep you posted on the quality once I get it!

Botanical prints have been catching my eye non stop lately. I ordered this for our kitchen and then saw this cute little print that you can buy framed. Botanical art tends to work in almost every space and I love how breezy they are. Although I didn’t need a new sconce, so many of you are always on the hunt for a good one. This is hardwired not plug in, but the brass and woven combo is so cute. I will be sharing more updates as I continue working through our space. With the new rug and console our living room already feels so much lighter and has me excited for warmer months ahead!

I love that little mirror. Just curious if you could share where/how you plan to use it on your bookshelves. We have some built in shelving in our living room and I would love to style a mirror in them. I have never thought of a mirror before! Thx so much 🙂 love your styling ❤️

    • Hi Maggie,

Thank you so much! We have a very odd tall top shelf so I will likely lean it against the back or mount it and style with some taller accents around it. I will definitely post some photos once it comes in!
