Warm Weather Favorites

Happy Memorial Day! Although everything is pretty much business as usual around here (really getting used to quarantine life) the long weekend and change in weather has me feeling like a human again. With no trips (or really anything) planned in the near future I still wanted to get excited for summer and bring in a few new pieces. I recently collaborated with the wonderful women owned company Either / Or. Their shoes are ethically handmade in Mexico and the quality is incredible. I have been wearing them nonstop even around our apartment!

I also wanted to note I tend to make a lot of website updates on the weekends. I know many of these get missed, so I thought it might be nice to start Mondays off with a little recap of the goings-on around Harlowe James. I have been making updates to my shop pages and adding a lot of new pieces. The main ones are the Spring/ Summer Shop, the Dress Shop, Coffee Table Books and the main Shop Page. I have also been adding all of the new pieces you have seen around here to My Apartment, including our little kitchen accents and jute rug.

In case you missed my Memorial Day Sale Post I rounded up a few of my favorites that are still going on. Lastly I reached out to all of you on Instagram over the weekend about what you were interested in seeing more of. I got so many responses – thank you! General consensus is design based content, specifically tacking problem areas. Therefore I am going to be starting a new series on here called Design Challenge where each week I will cover something many of you are struggling with. Everything from how to mix wood tones to what to put on a large wall. I end up doing a lot of these anyway, but I think it will be really nice to have a series to reference when working on your own projects.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!
