Summer Baby Shower

Earlier this month I threw a baby shower for one of my best friends who is expecting a baby boy in the fall. It was so fun to put together a party celebrating something so special and I loved finding a lot of little personal details that reminded me of her. I shared a bit on Instagram and received some questions about the decor (especially these rattan hot air balloons) so I wanted to put a post together with just about everything I used. I couldn’t find any napkins I wanted in a decent price range, so I ordered the fabric on Etsy and my lovely mom cut and finished them on the sewing machine. If you sew, it is definitely a cost effective way to get a ton of napkins and then I had a set to give the mom-to-be after the party. For flowers, I used a mix of delphinium, cosmos and white Canterbury bells (Campanula’s) all sourced from the SF Flower Mart. See more of my favorite details below!

I pressed fresh chamomile flowers into the cake for a rustic look

I had this custom sign done in the 12″ rectangular length
