The official start to fall is less than two weeks away. I always enjoy the slow transition into a new season and leaving summer behind. I know this is not the case for everyone and it seems that we are pushed out of seasons as quickly as they arrive these days – I just saw Christmas decor at Costco! However, as much as I have grown to love summer, I will forever be an autumn girl. Especially since we are having a baby quite soon I will be in full cozy nesting mode. I won’t start adding Halloween touches until October (I have some self control!), but I have started to bring in some elements around the apartment that help welcome my favorite time of year. I am currently burning a tried and true favorite, this spiced chestnut candle and look forward to my evening wind down in cozy loungewear which I have been seemingly stocking up on.
Things Of Note
The new A/W collection from H&M just launched and it is SO good – I love all of the tones and textures! I linked some of my favorite pieces below.
Autumn is my favorite time of year at home to bring in cozy layers and savor this magical season. I have been adding new pieces to my Fall Home Shop including some recent purchases. I oddly swap out my dish towels seasonally and gravitate towards a deeper hue this time of year. I bought both these and these and the green is SO pretty! I know the Hudson Grace option is pricier, but I buy these every year in multiple colors and they are hands down my favorite for drying dishes. I mentioned this on Instagram, but since I haven’t done a blog post in far too long I wanted to link it here as well. My favorite mini lamp is finally back in stock and it is so good! The cordless style makes this work perfectly on a shelf or in the kitchen and the glass base is extremely heavy duty, making it a great price point for the quality.
I have been all about texture when shopping for fall wardrobe staples and have been on the hunt for a brown suede bag. I linked a few in this round up including the well priced Madewell shopper and this top handle beauty!
