Maybe it is the colder winter months or the incredible array of pieces on the market right now, but lately I have been much more drawn to high contrast looks. My brain often gravitates towards pale hues and a layering of creams, but I love the balance of dark and natural tones – in interiors and closet staples. Black is such a grounding neutral that adds a beautiful and sometimes much needed depth. This time of year I always incorporate more black into my wardrobe, which instantly makes it feel more elevated and pulled together.
