Things Of Note This Past Week

The weather has been so beautiful this past week and today was the quintessential spring Sunday. As I mentioned before, I am determined to start getting dressed again which has made me take major inventory of my closet. Not everything fits like it once did or looks the same, so I have been updating some key wardrobe pieces. I realized I don’t have a great spring jacket – I kind of wear the same jean jacket on repeat, which is fine, but I was craving something different. The barn jacket has been everywhere and for good reason. It does go with so many different styles and outfits and adds the perfect relaxed touch. I got this style because I am clearly on a yellow kick and love the lighter weight. It is SO cute and classic even in the color. I also ordered this to compare because I really like the white too! Adding in more yellow – I also purchased these buttery flats on the Madewell 25% off sale and have been eyeing this sweater. I also ordered this dress to potentially wear for Easter since I am craving more color right now.

What I’m burning: I recently went back to burning La Droguerie in the kitchen and forgot how much I loved the subtle basil scent. It feels so clean and I love that it really does help to eliminate cooking smells and food odor without a perfumey mask.

New to me brand: I recently came across With Nothing Underneath and fell hard for the British brand. Everything is classic with a quintessentially British twist, especially the gingham button down paired with the gingham boxers. It would look so chic with mary-janes and jacket thrown over. I can’t wait to see what everything looks like in person.

In my bag: I shared this on Instagram, but also had to put it here – I ordered these canvas pouches which are prefect for everyday use or traveling and on sale for $12! I also added a new face oil to my routine which has worked wonders for my dry skin and gives that perfect dewy finish. Another beauty favorite right now – a tried and true lip color (Dolce Vita) in a new long lasting pencil.
