A brown handbag is and always has been a closet staple. I often gravitate towards brown bags over black because I find they work seamlessly throughout the year and with outfits where black can feel too harsh or contrasted. I recently got a few inquires about my Dragon Diffusion bag which feels so timeless even with the woven style. I absolutely love the size and style of the Nantucket, but Etsy does make a very similar cheaper option.
