Pretty patterned drapery can add so much character to a room and has grown immensely in popularity over the years thanks in part to the resurgence of English country influence. Many of the striking panels we see in home tours and magazines are custom, which are quite pricey when taking into account the cost of nice fabric and the labor to make the panels. I always had trouble finding good off the shelf patterned options, but lately I have been seeing new designs from retailers carrying everything from charming block prints to classic stripes. If you still aren’t seeing anything you love and are working with a smaller budget, another option is to buy more inexpensive fabric (Etsy carries a ton or local fabric stores) and have panels made locally or through an Etsy workroom.
