Many of us don’t have the beauty of high ceilings in our living spaces, which can mean we are limited on ceiling light styles that work, especially in places like a bedroom. I recently opened up blog post suggestions on Instagram and I got this one a few times. Many of you are on the hunt for the perfect flush or semi- flush mount light that works with standard 8′ ceilings. I love a true flush mount for spaces that absolutely require them, but often we can get away with a short drop and for that I prefer chain style pendants that can be cut to your desired height. I almost always use these in bedroom designs (including my own above). We often can get away with more of a drop than we think especially when over a bed, since you will not be walking under it.
