I definitely don’t hide the fact that I am excited for fall to begin, but truth be told I have always loved the tail end of summer. A beautiful sunny day with a nice breeze is the perfect opportunity for a lazy picnic. I used to gravitate more toward elaborate set ups, but a summertime picnic should be all about relaxation and breezy accents. I use this blanket by Rough Linen for so many different things and it works great as a picnic blanket. I also load up a few of my favorite baskets with cutting boards, small plates and some ingredients for a simple cheese board.
