A recap of my outfits and pieces I am loving this week
I know it is still summer in most of the country, but the Bay Area has been so chilly and foggy most mornings which of course has me in the mood for fall dressing. I prefer to dress in layers, so I love the transition into fall and winter where I can throw a cool jacket or coat on over a very simple outfit. For this time of year I also love pairing a heavier weight jacket or chunky sweater with a breezy linen pant.
Bag (definitely an investment, but seriously the best tote I have ever used. I LOVE that it isn’t too structured, but holds its shape when you set it down. So beautifully made and timeless.)
Sweater – I am clearly a big fan, as I got it in both the stripe and white. This is my ideal sweater. Feels lived in and cozy with any outfit. It is more of a oversized cut, but not super long. I am wearing an XS in the stripe and S in the white.
Black Jeans – A forever favorite for stretchy, soft easy jeans
Flats – Also love these in same color without the bow

Green shoes are sadly no where to be found – old Gianvito Rossi mules. These are a really similar shape/style in more of a fall color!
Labor Day sales are starting and I know the amount of sale spam we all receive can be overwhelming, however I wanted to share a couple pieces I have that are included in various markdowns.
After so much back and forth I finally ordered a very simple slipcovered bed in the off white color, which we haven’t received yet but is a great price. I can’t wait to finally get this in October and although it isn’t the striped or canopy options I was looking at, there is something about a classic wingback that just works!
Our striped ottoman I have in the family room (which is great because it is on casters making it easy to move around) and our slipcovered kitchen banquette are both 40% off right now! These pieces are really well made and I have been super happy with how they are holding up.
There are SO many clothing sales, but I know that can be a lot so let me know if you want to see more on that front. I always like the Jenni Kayne sale because it is a chance to get one of their more expensive sweaters (also love this) at 20% off and J. Crew has a lot of pieces I own included in their sale. This button down I get asked about all of the time is a closet staple (it is definitely more oversized, I’m 5’4″ and wear an XS). I also wear these PJ’s all the time and take this wrap on every airplane – I am going to order another in the Hthr Birch!

I am not seeing them online, but will definitely post if I can find them. These are a really similar style in more of a fall colorway!
