It has been forever since Daniel and I ventured into the city for an overnight stay, so I jumped at the chance to check out the new 1hotel located right on The Embarcadero. This has long been one of my favorite parts of San Francisco, especially when the fog is MIA. Sweeping views of the Bay Bridge, the stunning ferry building and close proximity to the Giants stadium all make this spot ideal. I have been to the 1hotel in Brooklyn (which is stunning) so I was very excited to see the interior of this spot. This sustainable hotel chain is known for their use of natural woods, abundance of greenery and beautiful details – none of which disappointed. Everything felt so intentional and it made me so happy to see such a beautiful space open up in the city. We had delicious cocktails at the bar and were able to wake up to a gloomy sunrise over the water from our incredibly comfortable room. Truly simple moments that felt so special. I often get asked about places to stay in San Francisco and I would highly recommend this to any of you visiting, or local! It was so such a nice reprieve and really felt like a getaway. Major bonus – it is directly across the street from one of my favorite restaurants ever, Boulevard which you can never go wrong with!
