Loving Lately

Happy Friday! I love sharing some of my recent purchases or pieces I am loving in real time since some of the goods sell out so fast. I featured this bag on my neutrals post last week and instantly ordered because it is such a classic style and great Celine dupe. I tend to avoid cheaper bags because I am always weary of the materials looking meh, but since I am not in the market for an investment piece right now I thought I would try this out. IT IS SO GOOD! I absolutely love the size, the shape and the combo of materials. Another Mango piece I picked up is this insanely comfortable knit dress. I love the side slits, the length and the slightly heavier weight for spring time dressing.

ITEM I CAN’T STOP WEARING

I have talked about my love for Mother’s Insider Crop jeans numerous times and now own them in four washes. I’m 5’4 and find a crop style is my go to and these are just so comfortable. I was on the hunt for a great cream colored jean (opposed to white) and wasn’t finding anything that looked great on my frame. So, when Mother released the insider crop in the Cream Puffs wash I was elated. The color is warmer than it appears in the product photos, but definitely doesn’t feel too yellow and is not a crisp white – very classic!

BACK IN STOCK

One of my favorite kitchen pieces, my glass and wood cake dome is finally back in stock and on sale! I have had this for years and love how pretty it looks on the kitchen counter or when entertaining. I also cleaned up my kitchen shop page and added a ton of current favorites and pieces I use everyday.

CANDLE I’M BURNING

The sun is shining which makes me incredibly happy after months of heavy rain. We desperately needed it and I will still take whatever we can get, but I notice how much my mood shifts on a beautiful sunny day. My candle preferences are totally seasonal and when the sun is out I gravitate towards floral and fresh. Right now Mimosa is making me feel all the spring sunshine feels.

WORDS OF WISDOM

I read The Mountain Is You by Brianna Wiest in two days and highlighted most of it. It is so beautifully written and offers wonderful insight into why we get in our own way and how to make changes to prevent self sabotaging your highest potential.
