You all know how much I love a neutral rug! I have them in every room in our apartment and almost always pull them first for projects. They just serve as the perfect base for any room design and adds that textural element you can build upon with different prints and fabrics. I am always drawn to sisal or jute, but also gravitate towards a higher pile wool that is super soft under foot. Over the years I have found a few designs that work well in almost any space and have a quality I really like.
