As I have mentioned in previous posts, I have been on a mission to lighten up our apartment lately. Our space was pretty neutral before, but with the warmer weather I decided to store away our vintage rug for the summer. Removing the layered rug from the living room and replacing our old destroyed jute rug with this lighter option instantly made it feel bigger and brighter. I have also been incorporating new details into our built in shelves and on the console table to feel refreshed. I forget that moving books and accessories around shelves can make everything feel different. This is also a perfect time to do a nice deep cleaning and wipe down all the shelves and dust off and dingy books.

A lot has changed since our home tour at the beginning of last year, so I am thinking about doing it again to give you a better idea of the space as a whole!
