Do you ever get to the point where you feel like so many of your home accents suddenly need to be replaced at once? I feel like I go in cycles where my dishes are beat up, bath towels are so worn out and bedding needs an upgrade. Luckily I have slowly been swapping out pieces over the past year for more quality staples that won’t fall apart. One of the biggest I wanted to tackle was slowly upgrading our everyday dishes which I hadn’t touched since we moved in over four years ago. Opposed to buying dish sets, I like to buy the pieces that suit us best so I went with the Portobello collection from The White Company – starting with the pasta bowls, cereal bowls and dinner plates. I love that these almost have a wave edge detail, but still look very classic. As I mentioned in Tuesday’s post I also swapped out our bath towels for Spa Cloud bath sheets which I have been loving!
