Weekly Favorites

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I got to celebrate my first official Mother’s Day on Sunday which was very special. May has been filled with a lot of busy days (time truly flies faster than ever right now), bunches of my favorite fresh flowers (spring floral season really is something else) and savoring all of the little in between moments. I asked for your feedback on Instagram this past week about how you like to view content and I was honestly shocked that the overwhelming response was a preference to the classic blog post. I love this format so much and wasn’t eager to shake it up, but since I know Substack has become quite popular, I was curious to see. So as of now, I will continue posting here and on my Instagram story for quicker links. There is just something about this space that feels like home to me and I find it is easy to reference back to old posts. Of course as always, if you have questions on a product or can’t find something please let me know!

One of my latest home additions is.. what else.. new bedding! I know I share a lot of bedding, but it is truly because I use it all and I like to have options for different times of the year. I jumped at the chance to try Lunya’s newest product, their Quintessential Bedding Set. I am not joking when I say this is the softest bedding I have ever used. Daniel and I comment on it every night when we get into bed, it is just SO good and feels like a real luxury to sleep on, like a very fancy hotel – I can’t recommend enough! Sometimes when the material is this soft it can be really hot and somehow the 100% TENCEL is different than others I have tried in the past. I never overheat and actually find it to be cool to the touch, perfect for this time of year. I also love how the color is a true crisp white, some of my other white bedding looks more yellow. The set doesn’t have a traditional pillow sham so I got two additional king pillow cases to use so everything would match. I am also a huge fan of Lunya’s Pajamas sets, especially the Washable Silk which I just throw in the machine. Right now you can get 15% off your order with code CHRISSY15.

We spent Mother’s Day up in Wine Country so of course I had to make a pit stop in a few favorite stores in Saint Helena. I got a small Astier de Villatte vase I had been eyeing for a while. I love the shape because you can use it as more of a little pot for herbs or for flowers (like I did with my peonies in the photo above). I also saw the Arte Italica Firenze dishware collection, which reminds me so much of Astier, just a little more grey in color than the website makes it look. These pieces are so well made and also dishwasher and microwave safe. I want to get their cereal bowls and a serving bowl.

Over the past few years I have been stepping up my jewelry game, investing in nicer timeless pieces that don’t break two weeks into owning them. I love having nicer options on hand if we go on a trip or just to dress up everyday wears. I recently starting working with Aurate and I am obsessed! Their pieces are stunning, timeless and very well priced. I just got the Lab Grown Emerald Tennis Necklace and ooph the green is something else. I love it so much I am also eyeing the ring. Linking other favorites from them below and I have a code for you, so you can use CHRISSYH20 at checkout to get 20% off your order!

With the sunshine here to stay I am in a summer state of mind. For me, this equates to a little more color in my wardrobe which I always find works well in the form of an accessory. A colored bag is a staple in my closet to easily add some more interest to a neutral outfit. There are so many good options on the market right now and a colored bag can still be a classic!

I just added this beauty Marble Lamp to the shop

A broken record, but I can’t stop wearing these linen pants from Gap. I got the black in regular and the white in Petite for more of a cropped cut which I think I like a little better on my frame. They are SO comfy! {flats}
