Breaking Down My Bedding Basics

During my most recent Q&A I got a bevy of questions in regards to our specific bedding pieces and bedding recommendations in general. Y’all know I love white bedding and I have finally gotten to a place where I truly love every piece we are utilizing. My bed is one of my favorite places in the world (is that sad? Ha!) it is just so comfortable and cozy! Below is a list of everything we currently have on our bed, but I also still love this Serena & Lily duvet as an alternative to linen. I stored it away for the winter, but will likely put it back on in the spring or summer!

Linen Duvet Cover

I have tired a lot of linen bedding and this is my favorite! The subtle stitching detail adds just enough interest and it actually fits the duvet inner. It gets so much softer as you wash it more so don’t be alarmed if it feels a little rough at first.

Linen Pillow Shams

These match the duvet cover and again fit our king sized pillows perfectly. I have had my eye on the Eruo size as well so we might add those in the near future!

Duvet Insert

We recently upgraded to this down alternative duvet inert because I have bad allergies. We chose the medium weight which is the perfect mix of fluffy without being too warm in the summer months.

Tencel Sheet Set

We switched to this sheet set a few months ago and I honestly will never go back. They are the softest sheets and I am so excited to get in to bed every night. Daniel is also obsessed and that is saying something! They are currently 20% off with code THANKS20.

Linen Bed Skirt

A perfect clean bed skirt that is light enough so it doesn’t look too boxy. This option has a 15″ drop so I did have to pull it up a little back because I didn’t want it to pool on the rug.

The Perfect Quilt

We have the Sutter quilt in both white and flax. It is such a great addition to the end of the bed and we even use them on the couch. If you are local, the Serena & Lily outlet in Berkeley often has a lot of these in different colors!
