Another question that has been coming up a lot lately is in regards to my favorite coffee table books that focus on interiors. My shelves are piled high with books and I try to link many of my favorites on My Apartment shop, but it seemed like it was time to just put a post together highlighting some of the classics I reference the most. I find SO much inspiration in design books and constantly refer to them when I am looking for a solution to tricky spaces or simply need a dose of inspiration. I think Isabel Lopez-Quesada is a design genius, so her book has to be one of my favorites. Every page is so beautiful and her style always feels fresh. It was hard to narrow them down, but these are the books I am constantly picking up and tagging pages of!
I love this blog! I recently found it and I love that you have such a unique style. I would love it if you did a blog post on how you use design books, such as Lopez-Quesada’s. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words Emily!! I use design books for just about everything when seeking inspiration and often times problem solving. I have found them so specifically useful opposed to Pinterest which can be a lot of new “keyword” information. I just pulled out Isabel’s when looking for a floor material reference in an entryway. I love taking my time flipping through them and tagging pages that stand out to me for how they use accents, lighting, building materials, window treatments – etc. Will forever be my favorite source of inspiration!
