Monday Inspirations 2.7

You know those days where you feel behind before 9am? I have had a lot of those in a row lately where busy weeks bleed into the other and many things don’t end up getting done. We all have a tendency to just push through the busyness and often it feels like a necessary life requirement, but I have found when I pause and just slow down a bit, I work more effectively and feel so much better. Setting realistic daily goals also helps me a lot instead of essentially setting myself up for failure by stacking too much on my plate that I know I’ll never get done. When I have better expectations of my weeks and carve out time to do something just for me there is a drastic shift in my anxious tendencies and overall mood. The beginning of a new year can often feel like a hectic time to accomplish all the things, but a healthy balance is always necessary. Heres to a beautiful week ahead with some current inspirations that have me dreaming of spring and summer! (source above – VERY into these buttery pale yellow tulips)
