Go To Green Smoothie

I make this green smoothie a couple times a week, so I thought I would finally add it to the blog for reference. I love it because it is extremely filling and only takes a few quick minutes to make. I am just now starting to get in the habit of making my smoothie packs ahead of time so all I have to do is empty it into the blender – add the liquid and almond butter. I use these pouches to freeze the spinach and banana (sometimes I will add blueberries) in individual servings.

GREEN SMOOTHIE

Large handful of fresh spinach
1/2 Frozen Banana
One (table) spoonful almond butter
1/4 teaspoon chia seeds – sometimes like more sprinkle on the top
Approx. 10 -12 ounces of liquid (I always use this Coconut Almondmilk)
A few drops of a B12 vitamin for energy

Blend until you get a a nice consistency. If you added too much liquid, I will add a handful of frozen blueberries or ice.
