It is officially fall! Not like I needed to wait until today to start getting excited because I’ve been acting like the season hit since the end of August. The weather has been very odd around here lately and although the heat is now back, a cold rainy morning last week got me in a cozy nesting mood.

This time of year always feels incredibly special to me. In addition to the excitement I feel about changing up our decor and adding in more seasonal accents, I am also taking this time to declutter my space and life. I have been going through paperwork, cleaning out closets and ridding myself of items that I no longer feel inspired by. I have been slowing adding in some new pieces and have started collecting others on my Fall Shop page.

Currently very inspired by Brooklyn Decker’s North Carolina home. I am also loving a glimpse at the lake in this feature.
