October has always been the month I look forward to most for many reasons. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, my birthday is at the end of October and it is usually when fall starts to actually kick in weather wise. October feels somewhat calm in comparison to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays in the upcoming months. Due to the finicky weather in Northern California you never really know what to expect the weather to be like in fall. I still hope we will miraculously have East Coast crisp days the entire month, but it seems like those are few and far between. Since there is no need to bust out the down jackets and oversized scarfs quite yet, my go to fall outfit consists of a lightweight sweater layered over a tee shirt, a cute hat, comfy jeans and flats.
