This past weekend we finally had a ton of rain with yesterday being incredibly stormy. Typically this would seem like no big deal, but since we are in a drought – rainstorms feel very special and it was so cozy! I spent the weekend inside making some of my favorite meals including this delicious chili (which I simmer on the stovetop for hours) and a spiced apple galette I will be sharing soon. As October comes to an end, I am looking forward to celebrating my birthday with family and Halloween this upcoming weekend. I hope you all have a wonderful week! (source above)
