Recent Budget Favorites

I am continuing my recent budget favorites series, highlighting pieces I have come across while sourcing or have purchased for myself. If you missed my last one you can find it here and if there is something specifically you are looking for cheaper alternatives to, feel free to let me know and I will pull those for my next installment. Some pieces I can never find a great budget alternative for, but I love the hunt of looking for comparable items!

OTTOMAN
shop

At $500 this may not seem like a true budget piece, but similar styles retail for over double. Especially when you consider the size (41″ x 41″). This is part of a modular sofa collection, but I love the look paired with a neutral sofa and large tray on top. It feels very cool and timeless!

METAL PICTURE FRAMES
shop

I think I have one of these frames in every room of my apartment. They are my go to and I love how they look with black and white photos. The quality is great for the price point and the metal prong backing makes the art stay in place very nicely. (art shown)

FOUR POSTER BED
shop

Beds can be quite pricey, especially a four poster style. I love this metal and upholstered combination, which has a ton of wonderful reviews and actual customer photos. I come back to it a lot when sourcing for the classic shape and finish. At around $500 for a king size this is a steal!

LINEN SHOWER CURTAIN
shop

Shower curtains are one of those odd products that can end up being quite expensive. I love the look of linen shower curtains but we need two to fit around our tub, so I bought this affordable option and love the way it hangs. It doesn’t look exactly like real linen but the weight is nice and there is a subtle pretty stitching detail. I also love these curtain hooks.

HANGING BASKET
shop

I recently posted a vintage basket hanging on my front door with flowers in it. I just use a stasher bag filled with water to keep the flowers fresh or you could use a faux option. Etsy has so many good one off vintage hanging basket options, but I love this for something new or this.

ART PRINTS
shop

Artfully Walls is one of my favorite places for beautiful prints in great frames. They have such a wide collection of pieces that feel very high end. If the framed cost is too much you can always order the print (some are around $20) and frame yourself in the Target frame above or Etsy/thrift stores always have cool antique frames!

BLOCK PRINT PILLOW
shop

We all know pillows are EXPENSIVE, but this Etsy shop has some beautiful options for around $30 for a 20 x 20 cover. I love a good block print style and these have a nice hidden zipper and linen backing.

JEWELRY BOX
shop

Recently I went through all of my jewelry and parted with anything that has seen better days or felt quite dated. Unlike my closet I never really take stock of my accessories and now I have a less is more approach. I bought this compact case which I love because it can fit nicely in my dresser drawer and it’s small enough to travel with. If you need something larger I also like this size.
