As I have gotten older my excitement for different seasons has definitely changed. I will always love the fall, but over the past few years spring has been my favorite season. Everything starts to bloom and the rolling hills turn the brightest green hue making Marin look like the English countryside. I find there is a stillness about the spring as I start spending more time outside and enjoying long hikes and the farmers market. Of course we all get varying spring weather at different times, but I like to start thinking about the months ahead and dressing for the changing season. I find layering always works well this time of year as the weather can go from warm to chilly within the same day. Sweaters draped over shoulders, lighter coats and jackets or dresses with sleeves are all what I gravitate towards.
