The Marin Country Mart is by far one of my favorite places to shop in Marin. Tucked back by the ferry building in Larkspur, the Mart has transformed over the past few years into the go to spot for great shopping and dining. I had the wonderful opportunity of spending a day going into different stores and restaurants to share how the mart is the perfect destination to prep for Thanksgiving. They offer such a wonderful mix of curated stops to get everything from pumpkin pie to candle sticks and table linens.

 

FOR YOURSELF

One of my favorite stops to make at the mart is International Orange Wellness Spa. It is one of the most relaxing spas I have been to and a great start or end to a day of shopping. I love their facials and the entire experience they offer to their guests. I highly recommend getting to your appointment early to take advantage of their sun patio and steam rooms.

Outdoor Voices is new to the shopping center, but the perfect location to pick up cute workout gear. I love the sets they offer and the color palettes are always so on trend. I got these leggings to pair with this top and I am obsessed with the deep hunter color. New favorites I like to hit up are Clic and Erica Tanov. Both stores are perfect for small gifts, either for yourself or someone else. I was also recently introduced to Unionmade and got the most beautiful button down for Daniel to wear on Thanksgiving. Their assortment of plaid shirts and Levi’s are incredible.

FOR FOOD

No stop to the mart is complete without some food.. lots and lots of food. The thoughtful mix of specific shops feels very European. Belcampo Meat Co. offers delicious organic turkey. I am so excited to make mine on Thanksgiving day! I also love that you can order their meats online and have it delivered to your house. Rustic Bakery is a go to for sweets, especially their pumpkin pie. I also pick up an assortment of pastries for Thanksgiving morning to enjoy while watching the parade on TV.

One of my favorite newer additions to the mart is Fisher’s Cheese + Wine. Their staff is so helpful with selecting the perfect wine and cheese from all of their options. They can also make you a gift basket from your selections (or their recommendations) so even if you are not hosting Thanksgiving, this makes the perfect hostess gift.

 

FOR ENTERTAINING

You have all heard me talk about my love for Hudson Grace in the past and it just continues to grow. Everyone who works at this store is so friendly and their displays just make you want to change up all your kitchen accessories. This is one of my favorite places in Marin for table decor such as napkins, napkin rings and beautiful ceramics. Their signature candles are also incredible!  I absolutely love the small pillar’s, the Brentwood scent and the newly introduced  holiday scent. Hudson Grace also has a glass “flower shed” which is ideal for picking up fresh floral arrangements and festive wreaths.

The Marin Country Mart is the perfect place to prep for the hectic holiday season. I love taking my time and really exploring each store as they all have so much to offer and are constantly rotating their inventory.
