I have yet to stay at the hotel Peter & Paul in New Orleans (someday!), but every single time I look at photos of this stunning property I am reminded how much I love the use of gingham in interiors – and in general. They way they layer gingham on everything from canopy beds to lamp shades and weighty drapery creates such a striking look at feels traditional, yet cool. I feel like gingham has made a big comeback in design in recent years and it can be a nice way to introduce a little color or pattern without going overboard. Placing a simple gingham tissue box cover on a night stand or adding sconce shades to bath or hall lighting looks so pretty!
